After all the disruption this past Fall mother nature is smiling on us. I’ve been doing my version of a snow dance all last week. I convinced my band mates (The Gold Noire Band) that “Let It Snow “ is not a holiday song. It’s a make it snow song!! Even if we don’t get much, having the prospect of a white Christmas is always good for Tahoe. The storms rolling through in the next 10 days will seal the deal.
After our first real Fall shoulder season since before the pandemic our local businesses need a thriving Holiday. Raley’s was already in full throttle this Saturday. Same with Grocery Outlet. You could feel the exhale after the quiet calm of the past 4 weeks.
Remember to have a Gratitude mindset when the crowds start to build. We have had a few bust of a Holiday seasons the past couple of years. Take a deep breath and shop early or late. It’s a good time to teach your neighbor good snow storage etiquette over a glass of wine and share some local tips on how to deal with winter.

Nothing better than a good question to jump into.
Reach out for a talk over coffee or a hike I give information freely. I only ask to be paid when I do the work. tgold@bigwaterci.com
